About
.
Born in Graz, Austria, I developed my artistic language through years of international travel.
Early exposure to diverse cultures and landscapes, and their varied social, emotional, and spatial dimensions, shaped my understanding of how colour defines atmosphere, carries meaning, and shapes how space is experienced — an influence that continues to inform my artistic practice.
Since the early 2000s, I have lived and worked between Austria and Bali, Indonesia. This ongoing dialogue between Western and Asian perspectives is central to my exploration of colour, light, and sound leading me to develop a unique yet universal language of colour.
While considering colour fields the very essence of my work, my practice has evolved over the past three decades from the two-dimensional into three-dimensional sculptural works that function as points of orientation within natural environments, gently influencing how space is perceived and felt.
My recent exhibitions and collaborations include a presentation at the European Cultural Centre, Palazzo Mora, in parallel with the Venice Art Biennale 2024, as well as permanent, site-specific sculptural installations in public spaces, including the Municipality of Feldkirchen near Graz and Szent András Kastély.
Further works have been realised through solo and group exhibitions and commissioned large-scale projects.
I work with oil and mixed media on canvas and wood, incorporating materials such as 24‑carat gold leaf and light-reflective pigments to create luminous surfaces that balance transparency and depth.
My relief and sculptural works are developed as three-dimensional bodies using materials such as resin, composite, fibreglass, wood, and iron.
My work seeks to inspire and to give each place its own voice.

I would love to stay connected with you through occasional insights into my work, new artworks, exhibitions, and the ongoing exploration of colour, light, sound, and perception.
Art speaks for itself. It reaches an inner space within us — opening perception and allowing something meaningful, creative, and deeply human to emerge from that place. If you are curious and interested, this newsletter is an invitation into that evolving journey — a space for shared perception, atmosphere, and artistic discovery.
