PAINTING WORKSHOP
DISCOVER YOUR CREATIVITY
Arrive. Immerse yourself. Discover your own creative voice.
Painting in a protected space to slow down, work creatively, and develop your own artistic expression. Whether you are just beginning or already have experience, you will receive expert guidance, high-quality materials, and a clear framework for focused painting.
What Awaits You
The beginning is mindful and clearly guided, through body awareness, breath, and the conscious experience of colour, creating the foundation for a free and focused painting process.
A brief look at the nature of colour:
Colour arises in perception. Light reaches the eye, yet what we experience as red, yellow, or ultramarine is processed by the brain in an individual way. Memories, sensations, and moods shape how we see and experience colour.
This is how each painting becomes something unique: your personal perception becomes visible and finds expression
How Colour Opens Perception and Creativity
My painting courses invite you to consciously perceive the effect of light and colour and translate it into your own expression.
Colour is more than surface: it can focus attention, influence mood, and set creative processes in motion. Playful painting helps you settle, open your perception, and discover new artistic possibilities.
“I understand colour not only as a visual element, but as a lived experience. It influences our perception, our attention, and our inner resonance. That is why I guide you in sharpening your senses before the creative process begins.”
For You, If You Want to Go Deeper
If you have already painted extensively, learned techniques, or developed your own visual language, this workshop can offer fresh impulses for your artistic path.
An approach that goes beyond form, technique, and style, an approach in which colour, rhythm, and sensation guide the creative process.
Here, you can begin again, not to leave what you have learned behind, but to connect your experience with direct perception, freer working, and a renewed artistic presence.
In this way, painting arises not only from thought, but also from attention, sensation, and presence.
A Protected Space Without Pressure to Perform
My workshops are not about performance or perfection.
At its centre is the question of what wants to emerge in you through colour and painting. You are given time and space to settle and engage with the process.
Colour is experienced here not only with the eyes, but in its full presence. Many participants describe this experience as new, clarifying, and inspiring.
I guide you with clear impulses while also giving you the freedom needed for your own expression.
A creative process does not need judgment, but attention, trust, and a protected setting.
If you are looking for a place where you can work with focus, reorient yourself, and reconnect with your creativity, you will find the right setting here.

The Strength of the Group
What I value most about working in groups is the atmosphere that can arise: a shared creative space in which different experiences, perspectives, and forms of expression can exist side by side.
Here, each person is free to find their own path in painting.
Within the group, a special kind of resonance often emerges. Exchange opens new perspectives, strengthens trust in one’s own process, and helps creative blocks dissolve more easily.
Colour opens a form of expression that can go beyond words. When shared with others, this process often gains additional depth and clarity.
That is why I enjoy working with groups: they create a vibrant and protected setting in which development, exchange, and creative work can unfold together.
“It was such a beautiful time with you, Ernestine
You guide and hold the space with such sensitivity, competence, warmth and genuine humanity, always meeting each person exactly where they are. 😁”

How I Guide You Through the Painting Process
My workshops bring together intuition and expert guidance. A wide range of materials is available so that you can focus fully on your painting process.
I work in small groups to respond to each person individually, whether you are a beginner or already experienced. In this way, a setting emerges in which you can gain confidence, try new things, and develop your own expression more clearly.
What You Can Take Away from the Course
You do not need any previous experience. I guide you step by step toward your own approach.
You receive inspiring impulses for experimenting with materials and learn fundamental techniques in a practical way.
You benefit from my many years of experience to develop your painting independently and bring it to a coherent form.
You discover new artistic possibilities and take home a work that makes your expression visible.
Many participants experience greater ease, clarity, and a new connection to their own creativity after only a short time. Not because everything is instantly resolved, but because the process opens new perspectives.
If you are looking for a clearly guided, inspiring space for creative work, I would be delighted to welcome you to one of my workshops.

Ernestine Faux
www.ernestine-faux.com
For more than 30 years Ernestine Faux has dedicated her practice to exploring the profound impact colour has on human wellbeing.
Her work examines how colour affects mood, perception, and emotional balance, and how thoughtfully curated colour environments can transform the way we experience space.
At the heart of her work lies a simple proposition: that individuals instinctively gravitate toward colours that uplift, soothe, or stabilize them.
Ernestine likes to encourage audiences to embrace these intuitive preferences –
“Dress yourself, your environment with your favourite colour and experience the influence it makes in your daily life.”
She invites workshop participants on a 4-hour paint journey into the world of colour, a journey of self-discovery.
Her workshops are an invitation to consciously experience the effect of colour – first inwardly through mindful perception, then in creative expression.
